Avanza Sports delivers top quality sports and educational
programs by offering opportunities for players to develop themselves as athletes and individuals, by pursuing a career in football.

Avanza Sports has partnered with Hamelin-Laie International, enabling the two to deliver a Perfect combination of an elite football program and excellence in academics.

TECHNICAL DIRECTION

Professional sports direction from Avanza’s accredited staff of technical directors, coaches, sports scientists, health and wellness personnel, led by a UEFA Pro Licensee Sporting Director.

PEDAGOGICAL DIRECTION

Multilingual and dedicated faculty and staff ensure a high level of academic instruction as well as a truly exceptional experience for the students who will be studying abroad in Barcelona, under the mentorship of Alexander Martinez, the head of studies.

MANAGEMENT DIRECTION

Avanza Residency Project Manager along with the Avanza Global Management Team, are responsible for all the daily activities and events of the program as well as making sure that the residence experience fulfills the student athletes’ and families’ expectations.

FACILITIES

Just 15 minutes from Barcelona, Hamelin-Laie is proud of its educational excellence, based on the core principles of being multilingual, the International Baccalaureate program, the use of learning methods like new technologies, music, art and sport, and a comprehensive educational project that focuses on today’s social and professional realities and is designed to give the pupil all-round training.

The school boasts state of the art facilities such as a football turf field, audio-visual rooms, equipped classrooms and study areas. It also has multipurpose courts and theatres, in addition to a full equipped Residence with individual rooms and private bathrooms.

The football program is based in an academy structure by giving access to team practices, weekly competitions, and analyses.

SPORT SCIENCE

Avanza Residency Program comes with a Sports Scientist who ensures that the players always have access to the best health, nutrition, mental and physical  support they would need in a high performance program.

EVENTS

Throughout the calendar year, players participate in tournaments, special games, clinics and trips, enabling an immersive football experience for them.

CAREER COUNSELLING

Through the global Avanza Sports network, players are provided with opportunities to achieve their career goals every athlete aspires towards. Avanza will provide career counselling to players on professional pathways, preparing them for college placement opportunities and vocational opportunities.
